California LDS Singles Conference Coming this April
The 2nd Annual LDS Midsingles Conference in Huntington Beach is this April. It’s for all LDS midsingles ages (ages 27-40) and is sponsored by the Huntington Beach 1st Ward Midsingles. The age range will be firm to cater to 30-something singles who recently graduated from the YSA Wards and “older” YSAs who are getting ready to graduate.
This conference will definitely sell out with a maximum capacity of 1,200 people from all over the country, Canada, and beyond.

Price Now - Feb. 29, 2008: $65 (or when 1,200 capacity is reached)
Price Mar. 1- Apr. 20, 2008: $80 (or when 1,200 capacity is reached)
Price includes entrance to the Friday and Saturday night dance and chill rooms, service project, workshops, Friday and Saturday night mixer activities, special gift bag, conference T-shirt made by American Apparel, Friday Dinner, Saturday Lunch, and Sunday Lunch. (Price does not include cost of some Saturday afternoon activities, and entrance to the Conference After-party at Disneyland)
There will be no registration at the door. Register now to secure your Saturday activity as some activities have a limited capacity.

Afternoon activities (choose one sport activity, cultural activity, or entire workshop series)
Sports Activities include Beach Volleyball Tournament at HB Pier, Surf Session and Lesson near HB Pier, Sea kayaking at Newport Beach Harbor, Nature Beach Hike at Crystal Cove, Mountain Biking at El Moro overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Frisbee Golf in Central Park, Rollerblading (HB Pier to Seapoint), or riding beach cruisers (HB Pier to Newport Pier) along PCH.
Cultural Activities include touring the real Laguna Beach with its art galleries, shops, and beaches; and checking out the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, the largest aquarium on the West Coast.
Workshop Series (choose 3 to attend; workshops repeat on the hour)
Dinner on your own or “Random Group Dinner” where groups of 20 people will eat together at a restaurant to get to know each other chosen by the Conference Committee.
After dinner, “80’s Flashback” Dance, karaoke, and 4 chill rooms including an uplighted enclosed tent with speed dating and other mixer activities.
