About This Blog
I don’t know how many people think about it, but our prophet is a single member of the church. So you’re not alone.
Adult members of all ages are usually single for extended periods of time in their life. Why not make the best of it?
I started this blog to help facilitate fun and a healthy social life for LDS singles in Utah. Rather than focus on what we don’t have, let’s talk about what we do have (freedom, for one).
Tell me about your dinner parties. Send me your pictures to post. Send me stories about dating. Your insights. Make comments and participate. Infuse some humor into it.
This blog is your source for what is going on around town.
Coming soon, singles ward listing page, institute classes list, and I’ll try to find a calendar plugin so you can see all the events.
Email me: janet at utahsinglesblog.com with your input. If you’re geeky enough, sign up for the RSS feed or add us to your Bloglines.
I am a 30something single mom of one. I got married at 23 and found myself dating again in my 30s. A totally different experience. I’ve dated more in the past 3 years than all years before. Of course the purpose of dating for the Latter-day Saint is often marriage (when you’re ready to consider that). Someday I fully intend to be happily married at which point I’ll find a worthy replacement blogger.

Great point. the root of the word sacred is Sacre, which means to walk alone.
Sometimes we must go through that dark night of the soul to find our light. when it’s dark, you can see the stars and how many are shining their light at you.

a replacement what??
husband?
a replacement to internet dating
a replacement for typing on blogs at 9:37 MT or 3:14am wherever this server is?
:^)
I’m sure there are good replacements. The question is are you ready and open to recieve? When you let go of something limiting, you make room for something better. But the true miracle worker will usually work to transform from within. The source of all creation.
Cheers
