I would have to agree with you on this subject. I also feel the same way when asked that question. When I divorced I went through years of growth and maturity. so bringing up the past and past mistakes; I dont feel will help to get to know someone better; I think all it brings is doubt to a newly started friendship. Nothing good can come of asking this question. the advisary is going to take the information and whisper what ever it takes to keep you comfortable and hopeful that the person before you could be your companion.
