The Breakup: Version 12
“Well in a bit of sad news this week, the house I was courting and I decided it was best to see other houses.”
HA! Now that is a breakup story I want to hear! It’s so much easier to part ways with houses than people! Last week my on/off boyfriend of almost two years broke up with me by email. He actually used the friendship line on me. In reality he won’t talk to me. Yeah, that’s living life powerfully.
So I’ve been a bit down and mopey this week, even though the breakup needed to happen. He was most of my social life and I think I’ve forgotten how to date (I’m a fast learner but I’m taking it easy). This is one of those rare times when a friendship probably won’t happen.
The quote was taken from Brain Williams’ singles email list.

So first, I’m sorry to hear about your recent breakup. The “mope” is understandable, regardless of the level of needfulness of the separation!
I’m mainly commenting here because it seemed as good a place as any to comment on the overall site (I note that you don’t seem to have a general feedback link — which is probably for good reasons). I found the blog just a few days ago and have enjoyed reading the content here. You and your guest writers have made some excellent points and shared plenty of useful insights and experiences.
As a single male in my mid-and-getting-later 20s, and being somewhat naturally reserved, it’s especially useful to have a positive female perspective. So if you ever need encouragement to keep up the good work — well then, consider yourself Officially Encouraged.
