  • Experience Mozart with Vivace - Utah Symphony Social Group

Filed under: Events, Uncategorized by grocerybike @ 6:40 pm |

I have always wanted to go to this. Vivace is a group of 20, 30, & 40 somethings-single/partnered/married -who enjoy classical concerts and socializing. They are a part of Utah Symphony and Opera’s outreach to younger crowds. The next event features the works of Mozart (I’m a big fan). Hope to see you there!

Don’t miss Vivace’s next event: MOZART IS IN DA HOUSE

Experience an evening w/ piano’s dreadlock-sporting bad boy, Awadagin Pratt. After the concert, party at The New Yorker.

    What’s goin on:
Experience Mozart’s most famous piano concerto, No. 23 in A Major, played by the dreadlock-sporting rebel of piano, Awadagin Pratt. You’ll also enjoy the raucous and fiery Shostakovich Symphony no. 11 “The Year 1905″ featuring guest conductor Gerard Schwarz.

    The after-party:
Held at The New Yorker following the concert. Free admission for Vivace ticket holders. Party all night long with Vivace members, Awadagin Pratt, and conductor Gerard Schwarz. Ticket price includes food, dessert, and soft drinks. You can even wear a costume if that’s what does it for you.

Tickets are $30, $12 for students. Please RSVP to this event

Call 801.533.NOTE (6683) and mention that you are a Vivace member. To join Vivace send an email to vivace@utahsymphonyopera.org and you’ll instantly become one. It’s like magic.

The New Yorker is a private club for members.
