Back in the Saddle Again - Internet Dating
The last time I used the internet for dating I got pretty skilled at casing people out. Most of the time I knew what I was in for. It was usually good (I know, hard to believe, but true).
Sometimes I had dumb luck. But truthfully, it’s been a while. You have to laugh at how completely “off” you can be in your perceptions of people. I’m so rusty.
I’m going to put links to all the dating sites on the blog now. Which LDS dating site do you prefer and why?

I like sites with free chat (that works) or email. so you can get to know some fun, good, and/or interesting people.
I’ve been on and off a few cause I love to chat and converse and contribute in some way to each other. but some are clearly full of players who don’t represent lds values very much. There are exceptions. lots of people just doing the best they can. and others who I agree need to take time (a year plus) to get healthy, get in balance, and be fit for human consumption. at the same time, I think singles could be a great support system to each other but there are so many unhealthy out there (not a judegement, just fact) that we’d be better of watching Dr phil and improving our lives - sweep with a dustpan, not just under the carpet. wow, that’s a beautiful persian carpet you’re sweeping that dust under.
So it’s the wheat and the tares. Advice? Know what you stand for, what you want, and share who you are and make a difference. Keep doing your best. Enjoy the journey and give Thanks.
like sand on a mountain
rain in a fountain
shade in a shadow
a breeze in this tornado
just do what you can
clap with one hand
and shine all your light in the sun.

I like sites with free chats and emails. Kind a hard way if you really want to get to know a person but this might be a good start. This is the best way of extending our horizon not only for friendshipping but sharing our deep feelings about the gospel. I rwally like to know persons who have a rooted testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your comments jam and Russel. I just bought LDSfriends.com and we will be adding a lot more free things on it.
I very much agree with Dr. Redd that the key to happy marriage starts with how we approach dating. When we date with a spiritual base then we are setting up a strong foundation for marriage.

Internet dating is great place to meet people indeed! This might lead to real life dating and possibly marriage! I have seen people who met online and got married!
